The Studio

The Director

A creative director in Miami with a body of work that predates the tools: gallery representation, museum grade fairs, and a registered character universe.

Henrix, founder and creative director of HNRX Studio, seated beneath a burning arrangement of roses

From sound to canvas

Pedro's first art form was music. Years as a DJ and electronic producer took him to festival stages and a Las Vegas residency. In 2016 he left the music industry, but not for a canvas. He moved into business and finance and spent the next stretch learning how companies actually run. In 2023 he came back to making, this time as a visual artist, and brought both halves with him: the instinct from music, the discipline from business.

Under the name Henrix, that work found its audience. Representation by Park West Gallery, one of the largest art dealers in the world. Exhibitions at Art Basel, Red Dot Miami, and Spectrum Miami. The work now hangs in private collections, from NFL players to hotels to a name or two you would recognize.

Future Expressionism

His style has a name: Future Expressionism. Psychological cubism, artificial realism. Faces rendered from two angles at once. Rooms remembered wrong. Acrylic, spray paint, resin, and diamond dust, put through a lens the art world had not seen. It is not decoration. It is a way of seeing that now directs everything the studio makes.

The timeline

DJ and electronic producer. Festival performances. A Las Vegas residency. The creative foundation everything else grew out of.

Left the music industry and moved into business and finance. The years that taught the other half of the studio: how a business actually works.

Returned to art as a visual artist, carrying music and business into the work. Two Much Art, first tried as a fashion project in 2018, became the home for his paintings and canvases. See the art store at twomuchart.com.

Representation by Park West Gallery. Exhibitions at Art Basel, Red Dot Miami, Spectrum Miami. Work held in private collections across sport, hospitality, and business.

Created and federally copyright registered The Mutants, an original six character IP universe, registered as the Henrix Mutants Character Collection.

The body of work meets a production pipeline. The studio opens in Miami and works globally.

The Mutants

Six original characters, one universe, federally copyright registered. The Mutants prove that the studio can conceive a character, hold it consistent across hundreds of generations, and protect it as real intellectual property. They are never sold. Select licensing opportunities are considered under a separate written agreement, while every Digital Muse is built as a new character the client owns outright.

The studio teaches while it works

Part of the studio's practice is explaining design out loud: why a movie poster holds your eye, why one logo survives and another dates, why a thumbnail earns the click. Every client delivery comes with the reasoning, and the same breakdowns run publicly on the studio's channels. Understanding good design is not a trade secret. Making it is the craft.

On AI, plainly

The studio is AI native and not shy about it. The position is simple: the tools generate, the director decides. Every frame that ships has been inspected, repaired, graded, and finished by hand, and the studio will tell any client exactly how their work was made. The pipeline is described by its outcomes, not its software names, because the software changes monthly and the standard does not.
